We guarantee our personalized products to be free of manufacturing errors or product defects.  Please read below regarding our online policy.

Placing an Online Order
Please review your order carefully before you submit it. A submitted order confirms that all information and personalization entered is accurate. You are responsible if the information is inaccurate or incomplete.  If you have any questions about how to enter an order, please call or email us before you place the order.

Once an order is placed it immediately goes into production, changes or cancellations cannot be accommodated. You will be charged for the original order as it was submitted to us so please check your order carefully prior to submitting it.

We can be reached Monday-Friday from 10-4pm EST at 203.429.4405 although email is the best way to reach us at orders@thepaperalley.com. We do our best to respond within 24hrs.

Production Time
The production time for most of our products is estimated to be 7-10 business days. Letterpress items will require 10-14 business days. Business days are considered Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). 

Images
Keep in mind that colors, sizing and textures may appear differently on various computer monitors and mobile devices.  We attempt to show images that represent these characteristics as accurately as possible. We are not responsible should these characteristics not meet your expectations once the item is received.

Gifts
Due to the fact that our products ship from multiple vendors we cannot offer gift messages at this time. If your order contains items from one vendor we are happy to  accommodate a gift message. Please contact us and we will let you know if it is possible.

Damage
If, upon receipt, you find that an item is not as it should be, please contact us immediately. Email is always the best way to report damage so we have your issue in writing. We might ask you to take a picture of the damage and email us the image. We do not refund damaged items. Instead, we will replace an item if there is damage to it.

Errors
From time to time, despite our best efforts, errors do occur. Please contact us immediately if you discover an error. Should we make an error in your original copy or written instructions, we will replace your personalized item, free of charge, if notified within seven (7) days of receipt of your order. We will redo the order as it was initially ordered only. Changes to orders on redos are not possible. We do not offer refunds, exchanges or cancellations under any circumstances but we will gladly correct the order if it our mistake.

It is your responsibility to review the product when it arrives. If you send the item out and later discover an error there is nothing we can do to assist you. Please notify us before you use an item if there is any error with it.

Missing Orders
Any job older than 30 days from time of order cannot be tracked or replaced. You are responsible for letting us know if an item has not been received within 30 days from time of order.

Any orders that a customer claims was not delivered but on which we show a status of Delivered from a trackable shipment will not be reprinted until a full investigation by the shipper has been concluded. 

We do not refund missing orders due to claims that orders are lost. We strongly suggest to ship to a reliable delivery location.  Often, customers ship to a business address rather than a home or apartment residence to guard against problem deliveries.  

Payment
We only accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover.
Personalized items are billed
at the time an order is placed. Due to the personalized nature of the products we produce, all charges are done before an order is sent to the factory for personalization.
Connecticut deliveries will pay an 6.35% sales tax. Orders shipped outside of Connecticut are tax-free.

Proofs
In general, we do not offer proofs. If you want to see a proof, you can contact us before you place the order and we can arrange for a paid proof. We are able to offer paid proofs only on select items on our site. Proofs are a $7.50 fee per item.

Tracking Status

We work with several different manufacturers around the U.S. to be able to offer a wide variety on our site. Not all the factories are computerized so we are not able to offer online tracking at this time.  If there is an item you wish us to track, please contact us and we'll gladly provide tracking information as available.
